Terms of Service
By using The Pool Hub you agree to these terms. The service is provided by DOT.MOV LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, 52 Kingston Avenue, Margate, CT9 5NH ("we", "us", "The Pool Hub").
1. Who can use the service
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use any email address or phone number you submit.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with anyone else. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
- Upload content you do not have the right to upload.
- Manipulate match data to misrepresent results or rankings.
- Attempt to access the service or other accounts in any unauthorised way.
- Use automated tools to scrape data from the service.
4. Competition entries and prize funds
Competition entry fees, where charged, are processed by Stripe on our behalf. Entry fees fund the prize pool for that competition; the precise distribution is shown on each competition's page before you enter. Pool is a game of skill: prize funds awarded through competitions on The Pool Hub are skill-based competition prizes, not gambling.
Once a competition has begun, entry fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Subscriptions
Where you choose to subscribe to The Pool Hub, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price displayed at sign-up. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
6. Match data and disputes
Match data is entered by the players or admins running a competition. We use this data to compute statistics and rankings. If you believe a result is incorrect, contact the competition admin first. We may correct obvious data-entry errors at our discretion but we are not an arbiter of disputed match outcomes.
7. Content you submit
You retain ownership of any content you submit (avatars, comments). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that content as needed to operate the service.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or behave in a way that harms other users. We will give reasonable notice where possible.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data after deletion.
9. Service availability
We work hard to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may carry out maintenance, change features, or discontinue the service. Where the service is discontinued we will give reasonable notice and provide a way to export your data.
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we will notify active users by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
